Dicksonia Antartica/Soft Tree Fern

A very hardy tree fern found in south eastern Australia.

Producing fronds upto 4.5 m long

The trunk has an approx. growth rate of 3cm per year.

Excellent pot/tub specimen for outdoors. Ensure what is kept upto the plant during hot periods

Best position is in filtered light to part shade..

It can be planted in garden beds or alternatively in pots

Soil should be kept moist and plants should be feed twice yearly with osmocote, dynamic lifter or a liquid fertiliser.
