Dicksonia Squarrosa

A very attractive medium sized tree fern with slender, solitary or clustered trunks

The base of the fronds are covered in dark brown hairs.

Because this fern is compact in growthit makes an excellent pot/tub specimen for indoors or outdoors

Best position is in filtered light to part shade.

Keep protected from frost.

It can be planted in garden beds or alternatively in pots

Soil should be kept moist and plants should be feed twice yearly with osmocote, dynamic lifter or a liquid fertiliser.
